Maui Ho´oilo House

Ho´oilo House. The best accommodation on Maui.

First, I would like to point out that I was neither paid for this blog post, nor was I asked to write it. On the contrary, the Ho’oilo House has no idea who I am or that I am writing this article. My recommendation simply comes from my heart.

Ho´oilo House from the garden

Our Maui accommodation was the nicest we had in Hawaii and one of the most beautiful we have ever had. I do not even know why – whether it was the beautiful house, the individually decorated rooms or the great view.

One reason was definitely the familiar and relaxed atmosphere. The Ho’oilo House has only 6 rooms, each one decorated differently. So, you should definitely book on time! All rooms have their own private terrace and outdoor shower. A further feel-good factor were our friendly hosts Amy and Dan.

It already started with breakfast

The feel-good atmosphere has already started at breakfast. Every morning there was freshly baked bread and muffins, fresh fruit salad, cereals, eggs and much more. We took everything outside, laid down by the pool and enjoyed both the food and the view on the sea and even the neighbour island Lanai. I swear, a day could not start better.

The rooms at Ho´oilo House

The rooms are all slightly differently furnished and you can choose your favourite when booking. Provided that you book early enough so that all of them are still available, of course. On the Ho´oilo House internet page, you can have a look at all rooms and decide which one you want to book. We stayed in the one called Honu, because I liked the bathtub so much. And of course I didn’t book in time and there were only two free rooms left. But honestly I don’t know if there is a wrong choice at all, because I think all rooms have their own charm.
